1999 Corvette Roadster – “Pewter Metallic on Light Oak”

Not knowing alot about Corvettes we came in to see and learn. You answered all our questions about the vaious models and options then allowed us to drive the cars. You heard our ideas of where we wanted to go with a car and give us options and guidence without being pushy. We left the dealership several times feeling served and understood.

The volume of Vettes that go thought your store is amazing. So it was no surprise when you called us about a car being traded in that we might be interested in would be in. We were able to meet the folks that owned the car which was one of my criteria to buy this type of car. Over a couple of days we made a deal. Mostly over the phone, not the high pressure conference room ordeal. It was by far the best car buying experence I’ve ever had. Maybe we’ll want to move to another Vette in a couple of years. Corvette Joe will be our first call.

2000 Corvette Roadster “Torch Red”

I had asked a couple of local car dealers to locate a red c-5 convertible with a tan top for me. After about a two week wait and no action, I got frustrated and thought I’m going to have to find my car myself. I searched the internet. Right there on Craig’s list Seattle I stumbled into joeknowscorvettes. Joe asked me several questions about how I would use the car, particulars about colors and price range. In 3 days Joe had found my baby for me! It was somewhere in Indiana or Iowa, I don’t remember…and I didn’t care. Buying a car unseen is an unsettling adventure. There are a lot of “what if’s”. The financial transaction, what if the car isn’t what I thought it was going to be? If I wasn’t dealing with the right person, the deal could have went sideways 11 times. But it didn’t! Everything happened exactly the way Joe said it would. My baby was delivered right to my door in Bismarck, ND. (the delivery driver was even cute) Does Joe know corvettes? UVETTYA……

Living in Alaska limits your choices on used Corvettes and I appreciated the help Joe gave me in locating the “One”. I searched for weeks and found a couple in Washington that interested me but was concerned about buying sight unseen. I know this is not the way most people would buy a car especially a Corvette but remember I live in Alaska. I came across Joe on Craiglist and hit his site. My first impression when he called was, “Joe really does know Corvettes”. He asked me dozens of questions to help him help me find the “One”. After recieving about 3 Corvette packages (photos, build sheets, CarFaxs etc) there it was, the “One”. It had everything I asked for and more. My Joe Harvey Experience:

My brother and I had been planning for several months to take our wives and our Corvettes to Reno for the 2009 Hot August Nights car show. About two weeks before we were planning to leave (Mid July), I decided I wanted to trade in my 2004 C5 Z06 for a C6 convertible. I had been thinking about doing this for some time and finally decided I would do it.

I looked at a couple of dealerships prior to coming to Speedway Chevrolet and they either didn’t have what I wanted or wouldn’t deal on what they had. One said they would call me if something came in, and I never heard back from them. That was an opportunity lost for them.

When I talked to Joe and told him what I wanted, he told me that he didn’t have it, but would look for a car for me. True to his word, he called me two days later to say he’d found a couple of possibilities. After reviewing the features of those and several others he located, I eventually picked a beautiful 2009 Cyber Gray Roadster with 4,000 miles that was equipped with every option I desired. The problem was that the car he found was located in Austin Texas and as I mentioned earlier my wife & I were scheduled to leave for Reno the following weekend. But Joe still assured me that I’d have my car in time.

He got the car to Monroe on Friday, had it washed up, the oil changed and ready to go that evening. Again Joe came through. I was able to pack the car and leave on time Sunday morning. Joe was honest and very easy to work with. I felt we made a great deal.
