I wanted to thank you for the perfect car I was looking for. The corvette is amazing – this is undoubtedly the best car I have ever driven, and will remain so. FYI, yesterday itself I put on some 100 miles driving on the highways in the rain.

The aspect that I particularly appreciate about doing business with you is your no-hassle, no pressure style. During our conversations, it was evident that you are passionate about the corvette you were trying to sell me. I am sure that this is the case with every other masterpiece you have ever sold. I got the distinct impression that I was dealing with someone who cares about what his customers need and makes sure they are happy when they drive out of the lot.

From the minute I arrived at Speedway Chevrolet and asked to see Joe about a Vette advertised on his website of preowned vettes, I felt comfortable. I had a shock when he told me he sold it an hour earlier (should have called first). I figured it must be a good businees if he has quick sales. He assured me he could locate a Vette to my liking. Within a day he located a car with my desired options, color, mileage and price range with an estimated arrival time for my viewing. The Vette arrived as scheduled and as promised so I bought it. Financing was easy too because they are partners with my bank and I was able to drive it home the same day. It’s a supercar without the supercar price. Joe really does know Corvettes.

2008 Corvette Coupe “Machine Silver”

On a whim in July, I test drove a Corvette for the first time. By August, I had chosen a set of features I desired in a Corvette and started looking.  I quickly decided I would buy used to avoid the high depreciation when buying new. I then discovered that in today’s used-car marketplace, the 3LT/automatic/coupe was a rare car and none had all the features I desired.  So nearly daily I looked through the available Corvette posted on many different web sites, including Joe Harvey’s joeknowscorvettes.com. Finally in mid-December, Joe posted a silver ’08 with all the features I wanted.

When I called, he said bought it from the GMAC Smart Auction and it was on its way from Michigan.  He then said that many of his customers contingently purchase a Corvette before it arrives with the rider that the customer will inspect and drive it before the deal is actually finalized.  He described some of the key gate decisions that the Auction goes through when accepting a vehicle for sale. Further, he described his process to find out more about the vehicle he is purchasing for resale including looking at the AutoCheck, which is similar to a CarFAX. Knowing how rare these features have been in the used Corvettes out there, and the steps Joe took when he purchased it, I jumped at the chance.

Joe kept me informed as to where it was and when it would be available. When I inspected and drove it, the Corvette was all I expected and more. And now I drive my dream.

2007 Chevy Corvette Coupe “Machine Silver on Black”

I recently purchased a 2007 Corvette from Speedway Chevrolet.
