I was referred to Joe Knows Vettes by a friend who bought one from him.  There was a good selection of Corvettes on the lot and I found one that I liked.  Joe’s knowledge of the Corvette and passion for them really helped me make my decision to buy from him.  The whole process was fun (well except for signing all the papers).  After I got the car home (a 2005 Corvette) I started having an issue that day with the engine.  I contacted Joe and they fixed me right up and didn’t cost me a dime.  They took great care of me and my vette.  Smooth sailing since.

Buying my corvette from Joe Harvey at Speedway Chevrolet was a great experience! He was very knowledgeable and made me feel at home from the minute i walked into the dealership. I usually dread buying a new car as do most people out of fear of buying a lemon or paying too much! This was not the case with Joe. The Man:

The first thing that strikes you about Joe is that he is an absolutely genuine guy with an infectious passion for Corvettes; he loves these cars and knows everything about them. Were there any doubt, I’d encourage you to take a peek inside his office… I don’t know if I should be jealous, or worried! His experience with them is so to the point that I’m convinced he knows what Corvette you want even more than you do. Joe really does live vicariously through each of his customers, and wants to get you into a Vette for all the right reasons.

The Deal:
Simply finding a Corvette to buy in the Pacific Northwest proved to be a difficult and often frustrating task. I asked around on some enthusiast forums and the general consensus for this area of the country was Joe. From there I found his website and poured over these testimonials, I read all of them. I sent him an email, he called me half an hour later, and in two days I was making the drive to Speedway to check out the Vette he recommended. Five minutes after meeting Joe, he handed me the keys and I was on my own in a phenomenally well kept black 2007 Corvette, taking on the rolling hills and turns of the Washington State country side. Sold. The whole transaction was quick, and as transparent as they come.

Huge thanks to my man Joe, he does great work and made for a wonderful experience. If I lived any closer I’d take him out for a beer, and waste the night away talking about the American icon we all know and love. The Corvette.

I wanted to say THANK YOU again for your advice and your patience, which never wavered despite me flip-flopping like a beached whale between two then three (argh!!) cars. Everything you said about this car was absolutely correct. You know the advertisements for the V8 juice, where the mother is waving a french fry in front of the baby and he slaps her in the forehead and the “Should have had a V8″ slogan plays? Yeah, it’s like that. I’m sure you felt like giving me a nice little head slap and saying “This IS your V8!”…..

I’ll be telling everyone to come and see you for Vettes or any other cars they’re looking for. This truly was a hassle and pressure-free experience, and I finally (FINALLY!!) have the Corvette of my dreams.

I would always recommend Speedway Chevrolet for all your Chevy needs.
Joe and the managers did a great job. He let me test a 2010 GS corvette to see if I liked it. After a day we found that it wasn’t for us and he started looking for a new centennial base corvette. There was great difficulty with another dealer, in this endeavor. Joe and the managers persisted for three days and made it happen. I got a good price, a great car and excellent service.
We appreciate, in the Corvette Marque club of Seattle, Speedway and Lee Johnson for their sponsorship. Now that I have had a chance to work with them I will not go anywhere else to buy a Chevy or any pre-owned vehicle.

1998 Corvette Coupe “Black on Black”

I appreciate all that these guys did for me going out of their way to try and hunt down a problem that kept showing up right after taking my Vette home. It ended up being minor. The front tires ended up being no good so I got me a couple of new ones and problem solved. This is my first Vette and it won’t be my last. I plan on getting a C6 here in a couple years so I know who to turn to. I would recommend Joe to anyone. He is the kind of guy that doesn’t try to haggle or be a used car salesman(so to speak.) If you have any problems he goes out of his way to fix them. And most of all JOEKNOWSVETTES!!!

I went to Speedway to look at a Corvette I had previously talked to Joe Harvey about. Joe was patient during my lengthy inspection of the vehicle and answered all my questions and then unexpectedly he said “you can drive it by yourself, if you want”, this surprised me because usually a sales associate has to accompany you and in my opinion you can’t get a feel for the car in that situation. I never once felt pressured, he answered my questions and once I made up my mind he wrote it up and made it simple, without a doubt my easiest vehicle transaction in 30 years of buying cars. Everyone was friendly and helpful! I’ll be back, my wife wants a new car too!

My wife and I went to Speedway yesterday to look at cars and left 3 hours later with what I believe will be the best car we have every bought. The 2008 Black on Black Vette is beautiful and I look forward to many hours of driving pleasure. Our day at Speedway really started with meeting Joe Harvey, who if you are looking to buy a Corvette, is the guy to talk to. He was incredibly helpful in educating us on what would be the best purchase for us, and not just a purchase for the sake of making a sale. Very transparent and low pressure process. I felt like Joe and the Speedway team were there to make purchase a pleasant experience. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a Corvette to give Joe a call…as well as anyone looking for any vehicle to go to Speedway. This was our second vehicle from Speedway,,,,most likely not the last.

My search for the perfect car lasted about two months and I went nationwide using AutoTrader.com like it was a used car factory. I stumbled across Joe well into my second month. We took about a week to complete the deal in a pressure free environment involving phone calls and e-mails. I found and put in other offers on similar Vettes with other dealers as well as individual owners. Instead of answering my questions in a timely manner, all most of them wanted to do was get me committed to their car and sold ASAP. Joe was quite refreshing and more informed and helpful than all the others combined. Naturally, I started to only want to deal with him and his pricing was inline or better than most; including individual owners. Being an out of state buyer on a major purchase, I had to trust the person representing the car. I felt comfortable and trusted Joe Harvey and was not disappointed. He represented the car fairly and accurately. I’m thrilled with my 2007 Corvette and it was truly a pleasure corresponding and working with him. The car performed perfectly on my 950 mile journey back to Utah and was and is a pleasure to drive.
